The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners repealed the Occupational (Business Tax Receipt) Ordinance, effective August 1, 2007.
Effective June 1, 2008, businesses are no longer required to renew their City of Brooksville Local Business Tax Receipt (Occupational License).
You must register your business with the Property Appraiser for Tangible Personal Property taxes and apply for any exemptions allowable.
